What is an Ultra? In soccer terms, ultras are groups of fans or supporters of a particular club. They are often centered on a core group of founders or leaders, with smaller subgroups organized by location, friendship, or political stance. Passion, pride and loyalty are the fundamental characteristics of an ultras group. 

 

Groundhopper Guides exists to help you have the best soccer experience you can. We want you to not just go to a game, but to have the perspective, history and knowledge to connect with the experience, and with other people having it. Our motto is “Meet the clubs; see them play; eat, drink and sing with the locals.” Groundhopper Guides Ultras are armed with all of the information needed to make the most of their groundhopping adventures.

 

The content we provide on our website is based on our knowledge and experience. We keep you informed about the schedules, leagues and competitions, and we go to games and then share the information we and other groundhoppers have gathered with you. We do our best to keep our content as up-to-date and accurate as possible.

Which payment methods and credit cards do you accept?

You can pay online with any major credit or debit card.

Is my payment secure?

Yes, we take your security very seriously. The signup page (and the entire site) is encrypted with 128-bit SSL, meaning that any information you submit is secure. We never store your credit card number or your security code (CVV code). We only use a payment “token” (an order number generated by the payment processor) that allows us to complete the payment.

What if I change my mind and want my money back?

Your membership is not transferable or refundable. You may cancel your membership at any time in your Account Dashboard.

Is this a recurring subscription?

Yes, you will be billed annually and will receive a reminder email when your subscription is about to renew. You can cancel at any time, and if you cancel you retain full access to all content for the entire paid-for period. You can read the full Terms of Service here.

Are there any conditions for membership on this website?

All registered Ultras members must be 18 years of age or older. Please read the full Terms and Conditions regarding your use of this website.

How does my Ultras membership work?

You can access your membership from any page on our website by clicking the torso icon in the upper right corner of the screen or via this link.

When you are logged in you will be able to access all content including the complete profiles of every club in the Meet the Clubs section.

You can access your copy of The Groundhopper Guide to Soccer in England via the download icon in the upper right corner of the screen or via the Ultra Downloads tab in your account dashboard. Note that you will not see the download icon if you are not logged in.
