For a quick background, the UEFA Champions League is an annual tournament that pits the top teams from all over Europe. They start with qualifying rounds, then progress to a 32-team Group Stage in which groups of four play home-and-away for a total of six games. The top two from each group move on to the Knockout Stage.

English Clubs in the 2021-22 Champions League
The top four Premier League clubs each season advance to the next season’s Champions League. In the 2020-21 Premier League season, the top four were:

- Manchester United

Qualifying Rounds and Playoffs
None of the English or other big European clubs were involved here, as they all got a pass into the Group Stage.

2021-22 Champions League Group Stage
All of these were Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, with teams alternating home and away each week.

This is one game at each club, total goals wins.
- First Legs: February 15-16 and 22-23
- Second Legs: March 8-9 and 15-16

Again, one game at each club, total goals wins.
- First Legs: April 5 and 6
- Second Legs: April 12 and 13
2021-22 Champions League Semifinals
- First Legs: April 26 and 27
- Second Legs: May 3 and 4
2021-22 UEFA Champions League Final
The Champions League Final is May 28, 2022, in Paris. It was moved from St. Petersburg, Russia, after Russia invaded Ukraine. Liverpool will face Real Madrid.
