ian about us video feature Ian being nice enough to laugh at my “humor.”

Over on the Groundhopper Soccer Guides YouTube channel, we’re starting up a new series called “Fan Chats.”

As you might imagine, they are chats with fans of English football clubs about their clubs, histories, stadiums, cities, supporters, rivalries, and all the things that make a club a club.

Our first Fan Chat was with Ian Dunk, a Leicester City supporter. Why Ian? Because we first heard from him when we mistakenly said that the Foxes had only played in Europe once before this season’s campaign in the Europa League. He turned out to be a great source of information on all things Leicester. We’ll publish the full video next week.

But for this week, we have kind of an outtake from that Fan Chat, when Ian asked Groundhopper Paul how he first got interested in soccer, how Groundhopper Guides got started, and what some of our plans and dreams for the future look like.

We think it’s a fun chat, and we hope you’ll enjoy it. Thanks again to Ian, and be sure to stay tuned here on the blog — and even better, subscribe to our YouTube channel — so that next week you can hear glorious tales of the Foxes running around Europe!
