A Quick Look at the 2024-25 Premier League Schedule

The 2024-25 Premier League fixtures have been released, so let’s take a quick look at some of the interesting dates and key matchups in the schedule.
The Premier League season starts on August 16 and ends on May 25. The Football League season should start the weekend of August 10.
You can view the 2024-25 Premier League schedule on PremierLeague.com or on the BBC website. We recommend the BBC, because it shows kickoffs in local UK time; many other sites, including PremierLeague.com and ESPN.com, will convert to the local time wherever you are.
Reminder: Other than the first and last weekend, all of these days and times are subject to change. Most will stay on the same weekend, but not all will be Saturday at 3 p.m. as currently listed. Here is the list of dates when TV adjustments are made to the Premier League schedule.
2024-25 Premier League: Key Dates
Let’s look at some of the key times when groundhoppers might be visiting the UK to watch Premier League games.
Premier League Opening Weekend
After the Community Shield on August 10 — that’s Manchester City vs Manchester United at Wembley Stadium — the Premier League season kicks off the evening of Friday, August 16 with Fulham visiting Manchester United (above).
Newly promoted Ipswich Town will open their season at home against Liverpool on Saturday at 12:30.
In London on the opening Saturday, we have Wolves at Arsenal Saturday at 3, followed by Aston Villa at West Ham at 5:30. On the Sunday, it’s Palace at Brentford and Manchester City at Chelsea at 4:30 — surely the glamour matchup of opening weekend.
Other August Premier League Games
Other August Premier League games we are excited about, and where we expect to sell tickets, include on the weekend of August 24 Arsenal at Villa, West Ham at Palace, and each of Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City at home. The last weekend of August, the big one is Liverpool at Manchester United, while in London we have Brighton at Arsenal, Palace at Chelsea, and Man City coming to West Ham.
Premier League Boxing Day and Festive Season
English football on Boxing Day and during the “festive season” is a long tradition, and for this season we are most excited about Arsenal (vs Ipswich Town) and Chelsea (vs Fulham in a West London Derby) being at home on December 26. (Again, days and times are TBD). Liverpool and Manchester City are also at home that day.
On December 29 we have Southampton at Palace, Bournemouth at Fulham, Wolves at Tottenham, Liverpool at West Ham, and Newcastle at Man United.
