Hello from the Midwest!
I grew up in a family that really put an emphasis on travel and experiencing new cultures, which has shaped my life into a continuous adventure that has taken me all over the world. I have been fortunate enough to combine my passion for travel and soccer to see games all across Europe in a number of competitions.
Sports have been and will always be a huge part of my life, but none have had the impact that soccer has had. I have been playing and enjoying the game of soccer my entire life and have been a season ticket holder to my hometown club, Sporting Kansas City, for over 10 years. Soccer has always been more than a game because of the massive positive influence it has had on my life in the form of memories and emotions.
My first, and one of my most positive, experiences with international soccer came when I attended the 2011 Audi Cup and saw AC Milan, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and SC Internacional all play on the same night! It was an incredible experience that really sparked an interest in me to start following European soccer in a much more involved way. Another influential match that I have attended was a Bundesliga top-of-the-table match between Bayern Munich and Red Bull Leipzig on a chilly December night in 2016. I still remember this game vividly because of the table implications, with Bayern securing the top position with a 3-0 win.
