How Champions League Tickets Work
All clubs distribute tickets more or less the same way:
- To season-ticket holders
- To club members, via a presale or lottery
- Via a public “General Sale” if there are any left.
- As hospitality packages — seats plus a perk like lounge access or food and drinks.
- Via official resellers and their registered agents — like Groundhopper Guides.
It’s the same for Champions League tickets, just often with greater demand. Also, there is a restriction against selling home-section tickets to anyone from the away team’s country. So when Bayern Munich are playing at PSG, German citizens can only purchase in the away end from Bayern.

Buying Champions Tickets from the USA or Outside Europe
For non-Europeans, there really is no additional barrier to buying Champions League tickets, aside from the above. You can buy for any game, since you are not subject to the away-country restriction. So if steps 1-4 don’t work for you, try step 5 and get in touch with us.
Standard Tickets vs Hospitality Packages
Tickets are tickets — easy. Sometimes you can only get two or four that are guaranteed to be seated together, but aside from that, it’s just a ticket.
A hospitality package is a ticket plus a benefit like:
- Access to a lounge before and/or after the game, and maybe at halftime
- Food and drinks could be included
- Perhaps a stadium tour
- Discounts in the club shop
- Sometimes even something crazy like standing pitchside during warmups
It’s important to note, though, that during the game, your hospitality package almost always has you in a regular seat. You don’t (often) watch from the lounge itself.
