2026-27 Premier League Fixtures Release
The 2026-27 Premier League fixtures will be released on June 19, 2026. This has been announced by the league.
Remember: Premier League Fixtures Will Change
On June 19 we will know the Premier League fixtures by matchweek, but not the actual days and times of each game. This is affected by numerous factors (related: Why do Premier League Games move?). These include mainly television, but also European fixtures, the FA Cup, and the League Cup.
When does TV Change Premier League Fixtures?
There is a pretty standard schedule for TV adjustments to the fixtures. For example, the August and September games will be adjusted in July, the October fixtures in August, and the “festive season” fixtures in October.

2026-27 Premier League Season Start Date
The 2026-27 Premier League season will start on August 22 — one week later than traditionally because of the expanded World Cup happening this summer.
The Premier League season will end on May 30, 2027, also a week later than usual. As always, everyone will play at the same time on the last day.
When and Where is the Community Shield Game?
The 2026 Community Shield game, between the 2025-26 Premier League champions and FA Cup winners, will happen on Sunday, August 16, at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Teams and time will be announced over the summer.
Normally, this game is at Wembley Stadium in London, but this season — with everything pushed back a week — Wembley has concerts that weekend (by … The Weeknd), so the Community Shield will be in Cardiff, instead.
When are International Breaks in the 2026-27 Season?
There is a slight change to the international breaks for 2026-27. Instead of three one-week breaks in the fall, there will be one two-week break and one one-week break — so no league games on the weekends of September 26, October 3, and November 14. There is also a break the weekend of March 27.

The UEFA League Stage will happen in these midweeks:
- September 8-10
- October 13-15
- October 20-22
- November 3-5
- November 24-26
- December 8-10
- January 19-21
