In Scotland, the top two teams in the league qualify for playoffs rounds of the Champions League. After the 2024-25 season, like virtually every season, that was Celtic (as champions) as Rangers. However, both of them were knocked out of the Champions League before the League Stage, so there are no Scottish teams in the 2025-26 Champions League.

Celtic and Rangers both dropped from the Champions League down to the Europa League. Hibernian, for finishing third in the league, and Aberdeen, as Scottish Cup winners, qualified for the Europa League playoffs, but both were eliminated.

Only Aderbeen. They and Hibernian fell down from the Europa League. Hibernian were then knocked out of the Conference League in the playoffs, but Aberdeen made the main Conference League. Dundee qualified for the 2025-26 Europa Conference League second qualifying round, but they were knocked out in the Third Qualifying Round.
