When does the 2026-27 Serie A season start, and when will we know the fixtures?

2026-27 Serie A Fixtures Release

Based on previous years, the 2026-27 Serie A fixtures will be released in late June or early July.

Remember: Serie A Fixtures Will Change

In June of July we will know the Serie A fixtures by matchweek, but not the actual days and times of each game. This is affected by numerous factors. These include mainly television, but also European fixtures, and the Coppa Italia.

These changes are done in batches, and based on the current season, they will take place around four weeks before each round of games.

2026-27 Serie A Season Start Date

The 2026-27 Serie A season will start on August 23, 2026.

The Serie A season will end on May 30, 2027, a week later than usual.

When are International Breaks in the 2026-27 Season?

During international breaks, when many players play for their native countries, there are no league games in many top leagues around the world — including Serie A.

There is a slight change to the international breaks for 2026-27. Instead of three one-week breaks in the fall, there will be one two-week break and one one-week break — so no league games on the weekends of September 26, October 3, and November 14. There is also a break the weekend of March 27.

What are the Dates for the 26-27 Champions League, Europa League and Conference League?

The UEFA League Stage, which will include several Serie A clubs, will happen in these midweeks:

• September 8-10
• October 13-15
• October 20-22
• November 3-5
• November 24-26
• December 8-10
• January 19-21

Knockouts start in February.
