We now know the Eredivisie fixtures by matchweek, but not the actual days and times of each game. This is affected by numerous factors. These include mainly television, but also the KNVB Cup.

All the Eredivisie games through Matchwek 12 in November are actually already set. Nobody does as well with this as the Dutch!

2026-27 Eredivisie Season Start and End Date

The 2026-27 Eredivisie season will start the weekend of August 7-9, 2026.

The Eredivisie season will end on May 23, 2027.

When are International Breaks in the 2026-27 Season?

An international break is when the top leagues pause so players can play for their national teams.

There is a slight change to the international breaks for 2026-27. Instead of three one-week breaks in the fall, there will be one two-week break and one one-week break — so no league games on the weekends of September 26, October 3, and November 14. There is also a break the weekend of March 27.
