2026-27 La Liga Fixtures Release

Based on previous years, the 2026-27 La Liga fixtures will be released in late June or early July. Stay tuned here for the exact date.

Remember: La Liga Fixtures Will Change

In late June or early July, we will know the La Liga fixtures by matchweek, but not the actual days and times of each game. This is affected by numerous factors. These include mainly television, but also European fixtures, and the Copa del Rey (Related: What is the Copa Del Rey?).

These changes are done in batches, and based on the current season, they will take place from three to five weeks before each round of games.

2026-27 La Liga Season Start Date

The 2026-27 La Liga season will start on the weekend of August 16, keeping the consistency with the current season.

The La Liga season end date has yet to be confirmed, but will likely be on May 23, 2027.

When are International Breaks in the 2026-27 Season?

There is a slight change to the international breaks for 2026-27. Instead of three one-week breaks in the fall, there will be one two-week break and one one-week break — so no league games on the weekends of September 26, October 3, and November 14. There is also a break the weekend of March 27.

What are the Dates for the 26-27 Champions League, Europa League and Conference League?

At least six Spanish teams will play in the various UEFA competitions in the 2026-27 season.

The UEFA League Stage will happen in these midweeks:

• September 8-10
• October 13-15
• October 20-22
• November 3-5
• November 24-26
• December 8-10
• January 19-21

Knockouts start in February.
