The club was originally founded in 1916 under the name of Alfonso XIII Foot-Ball Club. The club played a friendly against Barcelona to honor the opening of their first stadium, which ended in an 8-0 defeat. Stadium
Mallorca have played their homes games at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix since 1999 and have a contract to play there until 2049. The stadium has a capacity of just over 23,000, which makes it the largest in the Balearic Islands. TOURS: Tours are offered for 16€ for adults on non-matchdays.
